Unlike many grizzly bears, she was often seen near roads in Grand Teton, drawing crowds and traffic jams. Some believe male grizzlies kill cubs to bring the mother into heat. More than 1,000 people quickly posted comments calling her a queen, a legend and an ambassador for grizzly bears. Hunters sometimes mistake grizzlies for legal-to-hunt black bears or kill grizzlies in self-defense — and wildlife managers often kill grizzlies that prey on cattle and sheep.

"Baywatch" actor Michael Newman has died on Sunday after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2006, his director and friend confirmed. He also said that before Newman died, he read him letters and played videos from friends of all walks of life, so "he knew he was loved." As Election Day approaches, the campaigns are putting significant time and attention toward courting Black men, seen as a crucial — and potentially movable — voting bloc in a tight presidential race.
