That was the highest incidence of hazing among a student group or team, ahead of fraternities and sororities, in which 38.3% of respondents reported having experienced hazing. Recent examplesThere has been considerable fallout following allegations of hazing among college sports teams this year. The following week, attorneys representing at least 15 former Northwestern University student athletes announced plans to sue the university over allegations that its athletics department fostered a “toxic culture” which facilitated harassment and sexual abuse. Most women (65%) and most Democrats, regardless of gender, (76%) said there are too few women in business leadership. But gender overrode political affiliation when it came to citing views on why more women aren’t at the top in the business world. “Republican and Democratic women are more likely than their male counterparts to say there are too few women in top business leadership positions and to point to certain factors as major obstacles for women,” Pew said.

RENO, Nev. (AP) — The University of Nevada’s basketball team could have a new off-campus home by 2026 under an ambitious 10-year expansion plan that Reno’s largest hotel-casino announced Wednesday. The nearly $1 billion private capital investment will be the biggest in the city's history, according to officials of the Grand Sierra Resort. Before that, the team played at the Reno-Sparks convention center south of downtown. It's been the Grand Sierra Resort since 2006. Last year, Las Vegas hosted Sweet 16 games for the NCAA basketball tournament at T-Mobile Arena on the Vegas Strip.
