The Sequoia- and Sofina-backed company's IPO will comprise of a fresh issue of shares worth 4 billion rupees ($48.30 million) and an offer for sale of 46.8 million shares. Reuters had reported in June that Mamaearth was in talks to raise at least $300 million for the IPO scheduled for 2023. Honasa said it would use about 1.86 billion rupees from the IPO for advertising expenses.

Faury's comments on industrial presence come as India is increasingly involved in the civil supply chain. Airbus declined to comment and Tata Group was not immediately available to comment. In October, Tata Group and Airbus said they would make the C-295 military transport aircraft in India.

Aramco and ADNOC own 25% each in the joint venture Ratnagiri Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd (RRPCL), a company named after the region where the refinery was initially planned. "The role of Maharashtra government is crucial in acquiring the land," the source said. Another source said ADNOC and Aramco were aware of the plan for several refineries.
LONDON, Dec 14 (Reuters) - Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been paid more than 1 million pounds ($1.24 million) to deliver four speeches since he left Downing Street just over three months ago, official data showed on Wednesday. As a member of parliament, Johnson is required to declare external earnings, as well as the number of hours involved. Johnson's best paid work was a speech in New York to the U.S. finance firm Centerview Partners worth 277,724 pounds. In October Johnson abandoned an attempt to reclaim the job he lost just weeks earlier following his successor Liz Truss's brief tenure as prime minister. Johnson, whose verbal flamboyance has long been one of his hallmarks, was widely expected to enter the speaking circuit after leaving office.

India creates more methane from landfill sites than any other country, according to GHGSat, which monitors methane via satellites. Air India has implemented a new set of regulations regarding the appearance of its cabin crew. Some rules focus on cabin crew hair, especially if it indicates aging. Male cabin crew members are allowed to wear wedding bands. Earlier this year, Tata Group circulated a new policy that required Air India cabin crew to undergo body mass index and weight checks before flights. Air India argued that overweight crew could be a hazard in an emergency, but the Air India cabin crew union objected citing concerns about crew members' mental health and the lack of a medical professional present at the checks, India Today previously reported.
Vontobel's Ramiz Chelat says that certain emerging markets can weather a global economic slowdown. Chelat is particularly bullish on the economies of India, Indonesia, and Brazil. BENGALURU, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Shares of India's Britannia Industries Ltd (BRIT.NS) rose as much as 10% on Monday, after the Good Day and Tiger biscuits maker reported late Friday a 28.4% jump in second-quarter consolidated net profit. The company's profit was 4.93 billion rupees ($59.97 million) for the three months ended on Sept. 30, beating analysts' expectations for a profit of 4.12 billion rupees, according to Refinitiv IBES data. Total revenue from operations rose 21.4% to 43.8 billion rupees from 36.07 billion rupees a year ago. Britannia's beat comes after peers Hindustan Unilever (HLL.NS) reported rise in profit, while Dabur India (DABU.NS) posted lower profit hit by high commodity prices. Britannia shares were the top gainer in the NSE Nifty 50 index (.NSEI).

However, in the one-hour of trade, shares of Yes Bank Ltd (YESB.NS), ICICI BANK (ICBK.NS) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HLL.NS) fell between 2.8% and 3.9%. The lieutenant governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, inaugurated the disputed region’s newest cinema on Tuesday, in a ceremony marked with much hype and fanfare. The movie theater will open to the public on September 30, according to businessman, Vijay Dhar, who has partnered with Indian cinema chain Inox Leisure Ltd., to open the theater in Srinagar. In the late 1980s, a violent insurgency in Indian-controlled Kashmir claimed the lives of more than 9,000 civilians according to the Indian government, though estimates vary. Last year, the government implemented a policy aimed to promote Indian-controlled Kashmir as a popular filming destination.
The Indian government last year gave a $6 billion contract to state-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HIAE.NS) for 83 of the locally produced Tejas jets for delivery starting around 2023 - four decades after it was first approved in 1983.
