President-elect Donald Trump is expected to name Stephen Miller as his deputy chief of staff for policy at the White House, a source with knowledge of the transition team's plans said Monday. While Trump hasn't made his choice public yet, Vice President-elect JD Vance appeared to confirm the news in a post on X as he reacted to CNN's report about Miller being chosen for the role. Vance said. Miller, a staunch hardliner on immigration policy, worked in the White House during Trump's first term in office, serving both as director of speechwriting and as a senior adviser to the president. CNN —Richard Allen has been found guilty of two counts of murder and two counts of felony murder in the highly publicized Delphi murder trial, according to CNN affiliate WTHR. Delphi law enforcement have long held they believe the “Bridge Guy” shown in the video is the main suspect in the case. Prosecutors drew attention to the .40-caliber unspent round found by the girls’ bodies, which a prosecution expert testified matched Allen’s pistol. The prosecution has also tried to match Allen with the video and audio recording of the “Bridge Guy” captured on Libby’s cellphone. “Richard Allen is ‘Bridge Guy,’” McLeland told jurors.

"It’s certainly plausible that the suspect involved in today’s stabbing is the same suspect involved with the previous five incidents, but the investigation is ongoing," Barden said. In the other stabbings, a 52-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, and four other people were stabbed in separate attacks between then and Friday's mass stabbing, Barden said. A 53-year-old man was also stabbed in the neck around 1 a.m. Friday, police said.

Representative Don Bacon of Nebraska, one of the most politically vulnerable Republicans in the country, has defeated his Democratic challenger and won a fifth term, according to The Associated Press.
