Sales rose 24% to $2 billion, up from $1.61 billion a year earlier.
It expects full-year profit of $11.74 to $11.94 per share, compared with a prior range of $11.50 to $11.72.
That also topped analysts' expectations, which called for $11.61 per share, according to Refinitiv.
Lululemon is expecting second-quarter sales to be in the range of $2.14 billion to $2.17 billion, representing growth of about 15%.
While DTC revenue increased compared to last year, it represented 42% of total sales, compared to 45% in the year-ago period.
