artifacts from an Etruscan necropolis looted by a couple of bungling tomb raiders in Umbria who stumbled across the haul on their land. They were found in Citta della Pieve, about 150 kilometers (90 miles) north of Rome. The ornate artifacts were seized by Italian police after 'clumsy' tomb raiders tried to find buyers online. They “had nothing to do with the world of (practiced) tomb raiders” and were “clumsy” and “amateurish” in the way they tried to access the black market for looted art, the prosecutor said. Another Etruscan tomb, belonging to the same “Pulfna” family, was found in Città della Pieve in 2015.

The average NHL team is worth $1.92 billion, according to CNBC's Official 2024 NHL Valuations, and recent transactions come at revenue multiples that rival deals done in Major League Baseball. For the 2023-24 season, the NHL's hockey-related revenue was $6.3 billion, 8.6% higher than the previous season, according to the league. The NHL also hit record national sponsorship revenue last season, bringing in $250 million, as well as record regular-season gate receipt revenue of $2.4 billion, the NHL said. The average NHL team posted EBITDA of $45 million on revenue of $223 million for the 2023-24 season, according to CNBC calculations.

Interest in so-called “golden visas” has skyrocketed among US citizens since the election, according to consultants that help the wealthy migrate. Golden visas allow people to effectively buy foreign citizenship or residence through sizable investments, including in real estate, government bonds or startups. Portugal’s Golden Residence Permit Program tops the popularity list because it is relatively affordable, requiring a minimum outlay of €250,000 ($265,000) in support of the arts or national cultural heritage. With golden visas out of reach for most Americans, social media platforms are ablaze with chatter about other avenues for moving abroad.

AdvertisementI first went to law school in Mexico, where people were more open to friendships. However, the top three global financial hubs (New York, London, and Singapore) belong to common law countries. The US has a common law system, meaning that laws come from uncodified case law resulting from court decisions. Law schools in Mexico take a more theoretical approach, while law schools in the US focus on the practical side. In my case, both law schools made sure we acknowledged this in order to understand how useful we can be.
