However, experts say there is more to Beyoncé’s snub than the industry’s longtime erasure of Black artists’ contributions to country music. A Florida judge has declared Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner divorced and single, signing off on a confidential agreement reached between the two. Judge Gina Beovides declared that the marriage was “irretrievably broken,” and that the couple’s agreement, especially their parenting plan, was in the best interest of the family. Now, city hall has launched a campaign that aims to cut down on some of the more visible examples of bad behavior. “Both on the street and in public places always wear an upper garment for respect and hygiene.”Another billboard from the campaign. The city is one of many in Spain and its islands that is pushing back against the impact of tourism. For weeks, the signs did not look good for Kamala Harris in Michigan. The leader of a well-to-do neighborhood association told me that the way Ms. Harris got nominated resembled “entrapment.” And, at a street fair, I chatted with Tamika Daniels, an activist who was working to register formerly incarcerated people to vote. Ms. Daniels expressed skepticism about Ms. Harris because the vice president had once been a prosecutor. There was no sign of such skepticism at the Harris rally near the Detroit airport last Wednesday, where roughly 15,000 excited people waited hours to see her. If the Harris campaign is unable to address this thorny issue in a way that feels like substance, then Democrats may not get the unity they’ll need to win in November.

Aerosmith, one of rock's top-selling acts, announced the end of its touring days Friday, saying that lead singer Steven Tyler's vocal injury has proven to be enduring and that he’ll never fully recover. Sadly, it is clear, that a full recovery from his vocal injury is not possible," it said. "We have made a heartbreaking and difficult, but necessary, decision — as a band of brothers — to retire from the touring stage." It's not clear if the end of touring for Aerosmith means the end of live performance. The band suggested it would be difficult to replicate its telltale sound without Tyler’s extraordinary and often raspy voice.
