A key opportunity lies in everyday scenarios that often go wrong, eroding your mental strength versus building it up. Don't underestimate the negative impact that landing in the "poorly" column here can have on your life and career. "Bad" events, emotions, information, and feedback are more influential than "good" ones, research shows. Events involving negative emotions, for example, are four times more likely to be remembered than those involving positive emotions. If the person offering feedback truly wants you to get better, and you do too, you can work toward that goal together.

Twelve percent of parents worry that their child’s anger could lead to problems, according to a new C.S. Many parents also expressed concern about the example they set for their children, with 70% saying they sometimes model poor anger management themselves. These parents are also more likely to feel they might be demonstrating poor anger management techniques, worry about the potential problems caused by their child’s anger and note that their child has encountered negative repercussions when angry. In fact, 30% of parents report they have not received advice on how to help their child manage their anger. Although more than 60% of parents say their child has learned anger management techniques at school, less than half say the school provides resources to help parents address the issue at home.

Those hopes fall on Blackwell, which is Nvidia's name for a family of server products based around its next-generation AI chip. Some of Nvidia's most important end-customers have already received some Blackwell chips, the company confirmed on Wednesday. "We will we'll ship more Blackwells next quarter than this [quarter], and we'll ship more Blackwells the quarter after that than than our first quarter," Huang said. A limiting factor to producing more Blackwell systems is the amount of components that Nvidia's suppliers can provide, Huang said. Expectations are high for Nvidia's earnings. Momentum behind Nvidia's Blackwell ramp Wall Street majors view Nvidia's Blackwell platform — which should be generally available in the January quarter — as a multibillion-dollar revenue opportunity for the chipmaker. Nvidia had said in August that it expected about "several billion" in Blackwell sales during the January quarter. According to Piper Sandler analyst Harsh Kumar, Nvidia could deliver between $5 billion and $8 billion of Blackwell revenue in the January quarter. Analysts are also largely undeterred by recent concerns about a recent report from The Information that Nvidia's Blackwell NVL-72 server racks are experiencing issues with overheating.

Russia's top central banker, Elvira Nabiullina, told the government yesterday that the country is approaching a "turning point" for inflation and interest rates, Moscow-based RBC Group reported. Last month, to tame prices, Russia's central bank hiked its key interest rate to a record high of 21%. He also downgraded Russia's fixed capital investment growth from 1.9% to 1%, blaming the central bank's key rate.

On the day that Nvidia is reporting earnings post-close, there isn't much attention on anything else, especially not chemical companies. There's no use in trying to bottom fish a stock that continues to make new lows… until it actually shows a marked change of character. If the stock can, in fact, see an upside follow through soon, then the measured move target would be up at $138. Past performance is no guarantee of future results, but patterns have the tendency to repeat – both over the short-term and long-term. U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein landed in Beirut on Tuesday for talks with officials on a truce between armed group Hezbollah and Israel, Lebanon’s state news agency said, hours after a proposal drafted by Washington won a nod from the Iran-backed group. The visit indicates progress in U.S.-led diplomacy aimed at ending a conflict which spiralled into all-out war in late September, when Israel launched a major offensive against Iran-backed Hezbollah. Hezbollah endorsed its long-time ally Berri to negotiate over a cease-fire, but both it and Israel have escalated the fight as the political efforts carried on. A diplomat familiar with the talks cautioned that details still needed to be ironed out and these could still hold up a final agreement. Khalil said Israel was trying to negotiate “under fire”, a reference to an escalation of its bombardment of Beirut and the Hezbollah-controlled southern suburbs.

Three Wall Street banks have taken differing views on gold's trajectory in 2025, reflecting the complex economic outlook. Goldman Sachs expects the price of the yellow metal to reach $3,000 per ounce by December 2025, saying "Go For Gold" in a note from Nov. 17. The gold price has declined by 7% since late October as the risk of a disputed U.S. election result diminished. While maintaining a positive outlook on gold, UBS warned that its gains — gold had risen 35% this year until November — could slow down. Goldman Sachs pointed to a fivefold increase in central bank gold purchases, driven by concerns about financial sanctions and sovereign debt sustainability.
