Victoria's Secret launched a new campaign with supermodels Gisele Bündchen, Adriana Lima, and Candice Swanepoel. Their photos in Victoria's Secret catalogs made them household names — the brand even dubbed them "Angels" to further cement their place as modeling royalty. Critics on social media pointed out that the new Victoria's Secret campaign looks eerily similar, even down to the name: It's called "The Icon" while Kardashian's was "Icons." Swanepoel posted about her return to modeling for Victoria's Secret in an Instagram post. "What a wonderful sense of belonging to come home to my VS family for this Iconic campaign!"

CNN —Victoria’s Secret is reuniting some of the most classic supermodels from its heyday, bringing Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel together in a new campaign. Bündchen, Lima and Swanepoel were part of the long-running “Angels” brand, which the company retired in 2021 as part of its rebrand. (All three worked as “Angels” for years in campaigns and in the brand’s famed Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — and all wore the show’s signature “Fantasy Bra” on occasions.) It later launched campaigns featuring ambassadors called the VS Collective, including celebrity reps including soccer star Megan Rapinoe and actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The campaign images, a mix of classic black-and-white and color portraits, were taken by Swedish fashion photographer Mikael Jansson.

CNN —Naomi Campbell announced the birth of her second child Thursday, nearly two years after she welcomed a daughter. A True Gift from God,” the 53-year-old supermodel wrote in an Instagram post, featuring an image of her and her daughter’s hands holding the new baby’s. In the cover image, Campbell holds her daughter protectively against her chest, wearing an understated black outfit against a neutral backdrop. In the accompanying interview, she said she had told very few people she was going to become a mother, a decision she appears to have made again regarding her second child. Campbell also told British Vogue at the time that she “always knew that one day” she would have a child, and in her Instagram post on Thursday she expressed similar sentiments.

She says her lifestyle has been enriched by the French principle of joie de vivre, or the "joy of living." But it wasn't until I moved to Paris from New York in 2011 that I noticed the driving force behind the way French people live. As a Nigerian raised in Austin, Texas, I always thought the best things in life were reserved for the ultra-wealthy. Here's what French people do differently than Americans to cultivate joie de vivre:1. So, if you want to find joy like French people, engaging in the arts is a good place to start.

There has been a lot of head-turning fashion on the French Riviera lately. Though some of it was spotted on guests at the Monaco Grand Prix (hello Bad Bunny in torso-hugging Jean Paul Gaultier), much of it came from the Cannes Film Festival, which ended on Saturday. There were a lot of outfits that caught our attention during the almost two-week festival, including Jennifer Lawrence’s red Dior gown and flip-flops (most comfortable! ); Naomi Campbell’s Valentino dress and flowing pink feathered cape (most ethereal! But the 20 looks on this list stood out more than most.

Beauty entrepreneur Anastasia Soare used to have pencil-thin, round eyebrows—one of her biggest grooming regrets. “In pictures, I looked surprised all the time,” she said. Realizing the shape wasn’t flattering changed her life, she said, and she wanted to help enlighten other women. Ms. Soare, 65, opened the salon Anastasia Beverly Hills in 1998, using a now-trademarked ratio technique to shape the brows of clients including Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford. She is still responsible for some of the most famous brows in the world, including those of Kim Kardashian, Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey.

Prints of photographs from Madonna’s wildly popular 1992 coffee table book “Sex” will be available for purchase for the first time at Christie’s New York this fall, part of ongoing projects to mark the 30th anniversary of the controversial publication. In October, over 40 prints first published in “Sex” will go up for sale as part of a special standalone auction. “Thirty years on, ‘Sex’ is still somewhat controversial, but it still reads as a very body-positive, sex-positive book,” Himes said. “Sex” also featured Madonna’s then-boyfriend, rapper Vanilla Ice, and stars like supermodel Naomi Campbell and socialite Tatiana von Fürstenberg. The prints will go on display at Christie's galleries in London, Paris and New York before the October auction.

What Would Karl Have Thought of It All?

What would Karl have thought? Watching the stream of Lagerfeld-a-likes mount the steps of the Met Monday night in their black and white, it was hard not to wonder. Yes, the evening’s dress code dictated “in honor of Karl,” the evening itself in honor of the opening of the Costume Institute exhibition dedicated to the designer’s work. Yes, Mr. Lagerfeld had made himself into a caricature, with his uniform of black jeans, high white-collared shirt, black jacket, fingerless gloves, black silk cravats and black shades. Also old Chloé: a remade violin dress, originally designed by Mr. Lagerfeld in 1983, on Olivia Wilde and a remade shower dress from the same collection, revived for Vanessa Kirby.
17 Looks That Did the Most at the Met Gala

The guest list for the first Monday in May, as the Met Gala is also known, serves as a Rorschach test for whom Anna Wintour deems important, circa now. Many guests wore black and white or suits and gowns embellished with pearls or flowers — favorite motifs of Mr. Lagerfeld. Doja Cat and Jared Leto each paid homage to Choupette, Mr. Lagerfeld’s feline friend. There were many wonderful dresses that paid respect to Mr. Lagerfeld’s legacy — in fact, there were too many to name. So here’s a reminder: The looks that follow did the most at the Met Gala — not necessarily the best, not necessarily the worst, just the most.
The Met Gala theme is based on the Costume Institute’s spring show “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” which is a posthumous retrospective of the German fashion designer’s work. Had Choupette deigned to attend the Met Gala, she would have joined many other immaculately groomed guests with elite pedigrees. Choupette, the Birman cat once owned by Karl Lagerfeld, led a life of decadence by the designer’s side. In Vogue’s recent tribute to Mr. Lagerfeld, she lolled over the arm of a windswept Naomi Campbell. She received an invitation to the Met Gala celebrating her onetime owner, according to her agent, Lucas Bérullier. (Like anyone who’s anyone in fashion, Choupette has an entourage.)

March 8 (Reuters) - Apple Inc (AAPL.O) is backing a music startup launched by one of its former executives. The company, called Gamma, is the brainchild of former Apple Music Global Creative Director Larry Jackson and veteran music executive Ike Youssef. "The artists shaping today's culture not only create music, but also video, film, podcasts, fashion, and more," Jackson said in a statement Wednesday. It also plans to collaborate with Todd Boehly's Eldridge, whose investments include the Los Angeles Dodgers, which is a major backer. For more than 40 years, Stephanie Seymour has relished being in front of a camera. She’s one of the inaugural ’90s-era supers, one of the rare models who appeared on both haute couture runways and Playboy covers, blazing a trail for others. “The original baby woman” is how fellow supermodel Naomi Campbell refers to Seymour, describing her ability to be both naive and sensual, an all-American pinup and a high-fashion muse. Having worked with the biggest names in photography, including Richard Avedon, Herb Ritts and Peter Lindbergh, Seymour has built her career by happily submitting to the gods of the photo shoot. Until this one.
Fur has long been known to ruffle fashion critics’ feathers. But as couture week began Monday in Paris, it was a group of fake animal heads that got people up in arms. A lion’s face leapt off the front of Irina Shayk’s black velvet dress. The head of a wolf sat on the shoulder of Naomi Campbell’s faux-fur coat. Kylie Jenner, seated front row at the show, also wore a lion head fastened to her dress.

CNN —Three decades after the release of her “Erotica” album and her lurid coffee table book “Sex,” Madonna reflected on the changing standards on how women are allowed to talk about sex in an Instagram story. On her Instagram story, Madonna wrote that she “also wrote about my sexual fantasies and shared my point of view about sexuality in an ironic way.”She received immediate backlash for the publication. “I was called a whore, a witch a heretic and the devil.”Despite the controversy, the book sold millions of copies, reaching No. Madonna, 64, linked her experiences to younger musicians and public figures who are able to be more open about their sexuality in public. Kim Kardashian can grace the cover of any magazine with her naked ass and Miley Cyrus can come in like a wrecking ball,” she wrote.
