CNBC's Jim Cramer reviewed Monday's market action, saying the session's moves reflect investors who feel Vice President Kamala Harris could win the presidency, even as the race remains deadlocked in the polls on the eve of Election Day. "I'm not sure the market's right about what a Harris presidency would mean for business, but at least now we have a blueprint for what Wall Street thinks it'll mean," he said. Traders, Cramer said, are looking to get ahead of election results, and they're looking for signs that someone knows something that others don't. The poll showed Harris leading Trump 47% to 44%, and Cramer said it has led investors to question whether other red states could turn blue. "I like the idea that you can now get a jump on what traders think," he said.

Sweden has dropped plans for 13 wind farms in the Baltic Sea due to security concerns. Wind turbines could interfere with radar and slow Sweden's missile response, its army said. A recent study found that an additional minute could be added to the country's missile response time. Sweden, which joined NATO earlier this year, shares a coast on the Baltic Sea with Russia. The reaction time in the event of a missile attack could go from 2 minutes to 60 seconds with wind farms in the way.

Oil prices extended gains on Friday, climbing more than $1 a barrel to pare weekly losses, as geopolitical tensions in the Middle East rose following reports that Iran was preparing a retaliatory strike on Israel from Iraq in the coming days. Brent crude futures , which have rolled to the January contract, climbed $1.31, or 1.80%, to $74.12 a barrel by 0128 GMT. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose $1.35, or 1.95%, to $70.61 a barrel after settling up 0.95% in the previous session. Oil prices were also supported by expectations that OPEC+ could delay December's planned increase to oil production by a month or more, four sources close to the matter told Reuters on Wednesday, citing concern about soft oil demand and rising supply. The world's largest oil producer pumped a monthly record high of 13.4 million barrels per day in August, EIA said.

Still, the consensus revenue estimate implies Alphabet could post its slowest year-over-year growth since the third quarter of 2023 . Analysts polled by LSEG expect Alphabet to earn $1.85 per share on $86.3 billion in revenue, implying year-over-year earnings and revenue growth of 19.1% and 12.5%, respectively.
