It created a “story for you” repeating unfounded allegations by X users that she used cocaine in the White House, and it created a “story for you” repeating allegations by X users that she attended parties hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs, who’s facing federal sex-abuse charges. In recent weeks, dozens of X users have posted about “explore beta,” and the vast majority of the posts have been negative. Some X users who browse the app’s trending topics see only ranked lists of popular subjects, with no AI-generated text. It’s also not clear if X plans to expand the Grok summaries from a beta test to a standard feature.

CNN —Police are investigating incidents of arson, vandalism and attempted burglary at a historic synagogue in Philadelphia that occurred within hours of each other Tuesday. Surveillance footage released by police shows the suspect standing inside the dumpster, then smoke coming out of the dumpster before it’s engulfed in flames. Then, around 6:30 a.m., two men attempted to break into the synagogue, police say. Philadelphia police are asking the public for help identifying the suspects in the arson and attempted break-in. The synagogue, which refers to itself as the “Synagogue of the American Revolution,” has “deep ties to Philadelphia’s and our nation’s founding,” the statement said.

But many people on social media compared it to the hoods and robes worn by Klansmembers. The cancelled candle has appeared on eBay, however, with one person attempting to sell the candle for $350. Candles are a staple of Bath and Body Works’ collection, which has evolved beyond soaps and lotions. Every year, the retailer rolls out its collection of holiday-scented candles that amount to nearly 40% of its annual sales, according to an analyst.
