McDaniel comforts Tagovailoa after the quarterback's latest concussion. CNN contacted Tagovailoa’s representatives about the report but did not hear back, while the Dolphins declined to comment. “I think it’s of utmost priority of mind for Tua to speak on Tua’s career,” said McDaniel. Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco will miss at least six weeks following surgery to repair a fractured fibula, according to NFL Network and ESPN. Pacheco suffered the injury during Kansas City’s 26-25 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The next running back on Kansas City’s depth chart is rookie Carson Steele, and he’s backed up by veteran Semaje Perine. Fifth-year running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who played in 14 games last season, is out until at least Week 5 after starting the season on the non-football injury list. The Chiefs will also bring in running back Kareem Hunt for a visit Tuesday, reports ESPN.

CLEVELAND — Deshaun Watson has been accused of sexual assault in a new civil lawsuit brought by a woman who alleges the Cleveland Browns quarterback forced himself on her four years ago when he played with Houston. According to the lawsuit filed Monday in Harris County, the woman is suing Watson for $1 million in damages. CNN —Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has been accused of sexual assault and battery which allegedly occurred in 2020, according to a civil lawsuit filed Monday by a woman in Harris County, Texas. In the lawsuit obtained by CNN, a woman identified as “Jane Doe” claims that Watson sexually assaulted her in her apartment before a dinner date in October 2020. According to the lawsuit, Watson – who was playing for the Houston Texans at the time – had become angry when he initially couldn’t find the woman’s apartment, yelling at her on the phone. According to the filing, the woman, Jane Doe, said she was terrified. Jane Doe is seeking compensatory and punitive damages in excess of $1 million, the lawsuit states.

(AP) — Baker Mayfield is staying with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after agreeing to a three-year contract worth up to $115 million, a person familiar with the deal told The Associated Press on Sunday. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the agreement, which includes $50 million guaranteed, had not been finalized.
