Analyst Timm Schulze-Melander initiated the stock with a buy rating and a price target of $178, which implies upside of 22.5%. Looking ahead, the analyst sees the AI powerhouse boasting 65% EBIT margin expansion and compound annual earnings growth of 38% between 2024 and 2030. The first growth driver is in accelerated computing, which aims to make AI data processing more efficient, Schulze-Melander said. The second factor behind Nvidia's growth case is the market's underestimation of demand for the company's products and services — even as rivals try to curb the chipmaker's dominance.

CNN —Four separate storm systems are churning their way through the West Pacific simultaneously, a rare occurrence resulting from warmer oceans that threatens to bring more misery to the storm-weary Philippines. Satellite images from the Joint Typhoon Warning Center show the four storms spanning the vast West Pacific basin, from Vietnam to Guam. They are Typhoon Yinxing, Typhoon Toraji, Tropical Storm Usagi and Tropical Storm Man-Yi. The fourth storm on the heels of Usagi is Tropical Storm Man-Yi, which is currently about 430 kilometers (265 miles) east of Rota, Guam. Man-Yi is expected to continue moving west, reaching typhoon strength Friday morning, and could potentially hit the northeastern Philippines by early next week.

A brand-new Disney cruise ship rushed to the aid of a catamaran taking on water in the Atlantic on Sunday and plucked four people to safety, authorities said. The Disney Treasure responded, saying it was 80 miles from Serenity, before heading to the catamaran and arriving between 1 p.m. and 1:45 p.m., according to the Coast Guard. CNN —Hurricane Rafael, a Category 2 with 100 mph sustained winds, is rapidly intensifying in the Caribbean as it bears down on Cuba Wednesday. It will be a strong Category 2 hurricane when it makes landfall in western Cuba Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Hurricane Center. Rafael is the strongest hurricane to roam the northwestern Caribbean in November since 2009, according to data from the NOAA. It’s forecast to become only the fifth hurricane to roam the Gulf of Mexico in November since 1966, according to hurricane expert Michael Lowry. A disturbance in the Caribbean strengthened into Tropical Storm Rafael on Monday afternoon. Rafael is the 17th named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season, and will be the 11th hurricane if it strengthens further, as expected. The storm system is expected to approach the United States later in the week, the hurricane center said, and a tropical storm watch was issued Monday afternoon for the lower and middle Florida Keys and for the Dry Tortugas. A hurricane warning has been issued for the Cayman Islands, and a tropical storm warning is in effect for Jamaica. The government of Cuba issued a hurricane watch for a handful of provinces, and a tropical storm watch for other areas.
