Multi-hyphenate Donald Glover announced on social media on Friday that he would be canceling the remainder of his Childish Gambino tour dates due to a health issue. In a post on X, the musician-writer-actor-director-producer said that after his show in New Orleans he was hospitalized due to an ailment. The news comes a month after Glover shared in a post on X that he needed to postpone the tour to “focus” on his physical health. Glover did not disclose additional information about his specific health concerns in his statement on Friday. Fans were surprised and excited to see Childish Gambino on stage again after Glover announced a new tour in May.

"The trend was inevitable," said Teresa Ghilarducci, professor of economics at The New School for Social Research in New York. "The lack of affordable childcare may be playing a role," according to Richard Fry, a senior researcher at Pew. "The childcare crisis, which was simmering prior to the pandemic, has come to a boil," according to a KPMG analysis. A study by the Pew Research Center found that men who are not college-educated leave the workforce at higher rates than men who are. That’s the premise behind global listing guide Time Out’s latest roundup of the “world’s coolest” neighborhoods. “Our bookshop is 19 years old and we have seen the neighborhood change a lot and that’s so great,” owner Nadia Champesme told CNN Travel. “This is the neighborhood where everything happens,” Dijon told CNN Travel, adding the cultural diversity of Notre-Dame Du Mont helps make it special. Interestingly, Principe Real, in Lisbon appears on Time Out’s list at number 8, six years after appearing in the list in 2018. “There’s no rule against a neighborhood appearing multiple times,” Grace Beard, travel editor at Time Out, told CNN Travel.

Nearsightedness, or myopia, refers to when closer objects are clear, but distant objects are blurry. Nearsightedness is expected to keep rising among children and adolescents. This could be due in part to the fact that East Asian children start formal education at the age of 2 or 3, earlier than kids in other regions, the researchers say. Progression of nearsightedness in children can be slowed by taking breaks and avoiding hour after hour on the phone or computer, he wrote. Limiting up-close reading time outside of school — screen time or otherwise — may help slow the progression of nearsightedness in children, he added.
