Rudy Giuliani has yet to surrender any of the valuables he was ordered to turn over to the two election workers he defamed, their lawyers say — including the Mercedes he was spotted riding around in Tuesday in Palm Beach, Florida. That includes some of Giuliani's prized Yankees memorabilia, including a signed Joe DiMaggio jersey and an autographed Reggie Jackson picture. Citing Nathan's allegations, Liman on Tuesday ordered Giuliani to appear before him in New York on Thursday, and rejected a request from Giuliani's lawyer that the hearing be held remotely or in-person next week. He also said that Freeman and Moss were trying to leave the former New York City mayor "penniless and homeless," and that Giuliani wasn't being evasive. "Mayor Giuliani has made available his property and possessions as ordered.

A suspect in the killing of a man whose death in Montana was initially thought to have been caused by a bear is in custody, the Gallatin County sheriff said Wednesday. The suspect in the death of Dustin Kjersem, whose body was found in a remote area on Oct. 12, was not immediately released. Gallatin County Sheriff's OfficeThe suspect acted alone and there is no threat to the community, Springer said. The attack was described as "vicious," and Kjersem died after sustaining “multiple chop wounds,” according to his autopsy, Gallatin County sheriff's Capt. "Our thoughts and prayers continue for the family of Dustin Kjersem," Springer said Wednesday.

Amazon reported a much better-than-expected third quarter Thursday, with strong growth across online sales, its cloud business and advertising. Commentary Cloud unit Amazon Web Services (AWS) revenue in the third quarter was essentially in line with the consensus forecast. Growth on a constant currency basis held steady from the second quarter at 19%, breaking a three-quarter streak of accelerating revenue growth. Quarterly results As for the rest of the company, Amazon delivered revenue beats across Online Stores (7% revenue growth), Subscription Services (11% revenue growth), and Advertising Services (19% revenue growth). Smaller businesses like Physical Stores (5% revenue growth) and Other (7% revenue growth) were better than expected too.

A 2021 UNESCO report said that the film industry could help add $20 billion to Africa's combined GDP. "I would certainly consider settling down here; not even consider, it's going to happen," he continued, adding: "I'm going to live in Accra, I'm going to live in Freetown, I'm going to live in Zanzibar. Africa's film industry is growing rapidly, and certain major streaming successes, such as Netflix's Nigerian crime thriller "The Black Book," offer increasing optimism for the sector.

He has imprecisely but repeatedly invoked the government’s licensing of broadcast TV airwaves and has said on at least 15 occasions that certain licenses should be revoked. Trump’s threats against CBS have been particularly intense in recent weeks. The threat from any politician to revoke a broadcast license simply because they disagree with the station’s content undermines this basic freedom.”Many of Trump’s threats conflate national networks and local stations. As president, Trump also said that TV licenses “must be challenged and, if appropriate, revoked,” but nothing came of it.
