Israel's parliament voted Monday to ban the operations of the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees, the main humanitarian aid agency operating in Gaza. "This is the latest in the ongoing campaign to discredit UNRWA and delegitimize its role towards providing human-development assistance and services to #Palestine Refugees," Lazzarini wrote. UNRWA is a U.N. aid organization established in 1949 to provide aid and protection to Palestinian refugees in the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. Some Israeli critics have said that the agency perpetuates a false narrative that Palestinians are refugees, which Lazzarini referenced in his statement. And U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres was declared “persona non grata" by Israel’s foreign minister, Israel Katz, and was banned from entering Israel.

Colin Farrell pushed his friend Emma Fogarty, who lives with a rare skin condition, the final 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) of the Irish Life Dublin Marathon in her wheelchair on Sunday. Photos from the race show the “Penguin” actor beaming while pushing a cheering Fogarty with her arms in the air. She and Farrell originally hoped to raise €400,000 ($430,000) for DEBRA, but now aim to reach a million euros. Farrell and Fogarty appeared on Ireland’s “The Late Late Show” earlier this month, where the Oscar-nominated actor said he was pushing Fogarty 1 kilometer for every decade of her life, or 4 kilometers in total. Farrell completed the entire course in just over 4 hours, according to Sky News.

The 48-year-old star ran the final 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) of the 26-mile race while pushing his friend Emma Fogarty, who lives with a rare skin condition, across the finishing line. I’ll never forget it.”Also speaking to PA, Fogarty said: “This was a dream come true for me and I want to thank Colin, who has been the most supportive, generous and loyal friend I could wish for. “He has always shown his compassion and empathy for people living with EB and is a true champion in my eyes. Earlier this year, Farrell launched the Colin Farrell Foundation to provide support for families who have adult children living with intellectual disabilities.
