Asked whether their salary was enough to cover basic spending, without taking into account income from second jobs or investments, just one in five Russians surveyed said yes. That is up from 25% in 2021 and 39% in 2022, Headhunter's survey showed. Of the 45% lacking the money for basic spending, more than half said they were at least 20,000 roubles ($212) short per month. The average monthly nominal wage earned by Russians was 71,419 roubles ($756) in July, Rosstat's statistics show.

Hunter led the Buffaloes with 13 catches for 140 yards and two touchdowns in his first game in nearly a month, and he collected five solo tackles on defense. Hunter celebrated his much-anticipated return to action with a 24-yard catch-and-run touchdown in the first quarter. When the Buffaloes started out on defense against Stanford (2-4, 1-3), Hunter received a big hug from his coach as he trotted out to play cornerback. When the Buffaloes forced a quick punt and got the ball for the first time, Hunter lined up wide right. Hunter returned to the game but later left to go to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with a lacerated liver.

Weeks before the 2020 election, Giuliani gave The New York Post a purported copy of Hunter's laptop computer. "Nobody believes it except ... his good friend Rudy Giuliani."

House Republicans kick off their impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden on Thursday, but a majority of voters do not believe the process should move forward. In a new national NBC News poll, 56% of registered voters say Congress should not hold hearings to start the process of removing Biden from office, while 39% say it should. An overwhelming majority of Democrats (88%) oppose the hearings, while 73% of Republicans support them. Just 35% of GOP voters say support for impeachment would make them more likely to support a lawmaker. But 62% of Democrats say voting to impeach Biden would make them less likely to support a member of Congress.

Hunter Biden will plead not guilty during his initial court appearance for three federal felony gun charges, his attorney said Tuesday as he denied that the son of President Joe Biden is asking for "special treatment" at his first court appearance in the case. Hunter's lawyer Abbe Lowell revealed that planned plea as he asked a judge to hold the court appearance by video conference instead of in person at U.S. District Court in Wilmington, Delaware. The court appearance has not yet been scheduled. Lowell wrote in Tuesday's letter that Biden was "not seeking any special treatment" by requesting the video conference for his first appearance in court on the charges. Lowell's letter called prosecutors' opposition "puzzling," arguing that he was making a "common-sense request in seeking a video appearance.

Hunter Biden was indicted on federal gun charges in Delaware on Thursday, accused of lying about his past drug abuse and violating a gun law when he bought a handgun in 2018, before his father’s presidential campaign. The weapon was later abandoned behind a grocery store by Hallie Biden, the wife of Hunter’s late brother, Beau. What Americans believe about Hunter Biden’s businessEven if there is nothing to tie President Biden to the millions of dollars Hunter Biden and other family members made from interests in China, Ukraine and elsewhere, most Americans are not convinced. Most of those people who think the president was involved back then also think the actions were illegal. Hunter Biden also attended.

"Starting an impeachment inquiry will hopefully force the media to cover the mountains of evidence linking Joe Biden to Hunter's business dealings in a way that the American people haven't seen yet." Less than half believe Joe Biden did anything illegal and most voters polled in June said Hunter's legal issues had little impact on their plans to vote for or against his father. "Starting an impeachment inquiry will hopefully force the media to cover the mountains of evidence linking Joe Biden to Hunter's business dealings in a way that the American people haven't seen yet." He was under pressure from them to launch the impeachment inquiry. The White House sent out a list of comments from Republican House members saying evidence that Biden had done anything wrong had not been found. Hunter Biden walks to the motorcade after arriving at Fort McNair, after U.S. President Joe Biden spent the weekend at Camp David, in Washington, U.S., July 4, 2023. Ziegler and other unnamed defendants are accused of obtaining "tens of thousands of emails, thousands of photos, and dozens of videos and recordings" belonging to the Hunter Biden and spreading them online. The suit accuses the former Trump aide of "accessing, tampering with, manipulating, altering, copying and damaging computer data that they do not own." Republicans have accused the Democratic president of profiting while he served as vice president from 2009 to 2017 from his son's foreign business ventures, an accusation the White House denies. "They have turned up no evidence, none, that he did anything wrong ... that’s because the president didn’t do anything wrong," White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Wednesday.

Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday announced that he has instructed three GOP-led committees to launch an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. McCarthy apparently abandoned his previous vow that an impeachment inquiry would occur through a vote in the House. Senate Republicans are skeptical that the House has uncovered enough evidence to justify an impeachment inquiry. The Republican-led House Oversight committee launched an investigation in January into allegations that Biden profited from his son Hunter's business dealings while he was vice president. Rep. Jamie Raskin, the ranking Democrat on the oversight committee, called the GOP investigation "a complete and total bust" in a statement Monday.

REUTERS/Julia Nikhinson/File Photo Acquire Licensing RightsWASHINGTON, Sept 11 (Reuters) - The U.S. House of Representatives returns this week for an expected political brawl over spending cuts and impeachment that could paralyze the Republican-controlled chamber, as Congress struggles to avoid a government shutdown. The House, which Republicans control by a thin 222-212 majority, has passed only one appropriations bill so far. The gun charge that Weiss indicates he will seek from a grand jury prohibits people who are users of illicit drugs from possessing a firearm. Federal prosecutors plan to ask a grand jury to indict Hunter Biden , the son of President Joe Biden , on gun-related charge before Sept. 29, they revealed in a court filing Wednesday. But Hunter Biden has been under criminal investigation by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Delaware, which Weiss leads, since 2018. Shortly afterward, Weiss said Hunter Biden would likely face trial in either California or Washington, D.C., for the tax crimes. Weiss's office has said the gun agreement is now off the table, and that it is not valid because it was not signed by the U.S.

Ozon, one of Russia's top e-commerce companies, raised nearly $1 billion in an initial public offering (IPO) in late 2020, a debut that sparked a mini-IPO boom for Russian firms. Trading in Ozon's securities on Nasdaq was suspended soon after Russia despatched troops to Ukraine in February 2022, as were Russian company listings on the London Stock Exchange. "Our ADSs will not be delisted from Nasdaq until all available review and appeal procedures and periods available under the Nasdaq listing rules have expired," Ozon said in a statement. In late July, Ozon's ADSs began trading on Kazakhstan's Astana International Exchange (AIX), a move that it said could increase liquidity, especially for international investors to trade its securities. A lawsuit claims Rudy Giuliani was paid $300,000 while pitching investors on an anti-Biden film. Giuliani allegedly said it would be a "kill shot" that would sink Joe Biden's campaign. By then, Giuliani was hard at work trying to dig up election-year dirt on Joe Biden in his capacity as President Trump's personal attorney. Giuliani, the lawsuit alleges, asked for the farmers' help finance efforts to make sure Trump was elected to a second term. The aborted Giuliani film project also forms part of a whistleblower disclosure from Johnathan Buma, an FBI special agent whose allegations were first reported by Insider.

A lawyer for Hunter Biden asked a federal judge Tuesday for permission to withdraw from the case, citing the likelihood he will be a witness to failed plea negotiations in the criminal case against the son of President Joe Biden . In a filing over the weekend, Hunter's lawyers wrote that the diversion agreement is "valid and binding." In his withdrawal request, Clark said his stepping down from the case "is necessitated by recent developments in the matter." "It appears that the negotiation and drafting of the plea agreement and diversion agreement will be contested, and Mr. Clark is a percipient witness to those issues," the filing said.
