Aug 3 (Reuters) - Cybersecurity firm Fortinet (FTNT.O) cuts annual revenue forecast on Thursday as enterprise spending remains tight amid a turbulent economy. The company's shares plunged about 16% in extended trading. Fortinet said it now expects annual revenue to range between $5.35 billion and $5.45 billion, compared with its prior prediction of $5.43 billion to $5.49 billion. Morgan Stanley has named four cybersecurity stocks it expects to gain from the increasing use of artificial intelligence. The investment bank said Palo Alto Networks , Microsoft , Fortinet , and CrowdStrike are set to benefit from a potential $30 billion opportunity AI is expected to unlock in cybersecurity. This trend indicates that there could be a cybersecurity workforce shortage of around 3.4 million people, according to the ISC. They calculated their estimated $30 billion opportunity by talking to more than 20 chief investment security officers and IT security experts. They found that tasks that can be automated currently occupy between 20-40% of a security analyst's time.

The biggest week of this earnings season showed us that things aren't as bad as many feared. The week ahead of earnings, including several more Club names, should tell us more. The results are always important, but it's the guidance and management commentary we will really hone in on to better understand the path ahead. In Amazon's case, a solid first quarter for its AWS cloud business was overshadowed by management seeing a material slowdown in April. ET: Nonfarm Payrolls Looking back It was the biggest week of this earnings season for the Club as several of our mega-cap holdings and industry bellwethers reported results.

The analysts have buys on Palo Alto Networks (PANW), with the most upside to price target, as well as CrowdStrike (CRWD), Check Point (CHKP) and Fortinet (FTNT). They increase price target to $255 per share from $215. But they think any pullback in shares of the Club stock would be short-lived ahead of the chip company's March 20 to 23 GTC developer conference . The analyst say Club holding TJX Companies (TJX) is best positioned and raise price target to $88 from $85.
