The White House will provide $300 million in additional weapons to Ukraine, officials announced Tuesday, as more funding remains held up in Congress by Republican leaders. Defense analysts noted that the more successes Ukraine saw, the more dangerous and unpredictable its opponent Russia could become as it sought to regain the initiative. That, in turn, would make the war much harder and more dangerous for Russia. Russian troops keep on gathering in groups, military bloggers said, according to a think tank. Ukraine is using drones and missiles for strikes amid intensifying Russian attacks. It's the latest in a series of similar strikes in which Ukraine has used precision-guided US-made HIMARS missiles to hit Russian troops gathering miles behind the front line. Ukraine has also used exploding drones to target groups of Russian troops and armored vehicles gathering to attempt to break through Ukrainian defensive lines. Throughout the Ukraine war, civilians have regularly recorded and relayed enemy troop movements. Individuals tasked with portraying civilians took photos and videos of soldiers' locations and their equipment in a recent drill. The imagery was then uploaded to a fake social media site called Fakebook, and troops role-playing as the enemy used the data to stage attacks, the Post reported.
