CNN —Former National Football League (NFL) quarterback Jay Cutler was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and possession of a firearm, among other charges, after police say the car he was driving rear-ended another vehicle in Franklin, Tennessee, on Thursday. According to the police report, Cutler attempted to flee the scene after offering the other driver $2,000 not to call the police. Cutler was charged with DUI-first offense, failure to exercise due care to avoid a collision, implied consent, possession of a handgun-under the influence, according to police. Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler arrested and charged with DUI and gun possession The Franklin Police DepartmentFranklin police say the 41-year-old was booked into the Williamson County Jail. In 2020, Cutler and then wife, reality TV star Kristen Cavallari, announced they would be getting divorced after 10 years together.

In Week 5, scoring returned — and, in several cases, it happened in some of the oddest and most unexpected ways. The Jacksonville Jaguars’ Tank Bigsby was first hit 14 yards from the end zone by one Indianapolis Colts tackler and appeared to be wrapped up by another at the 11. Yet, with two teammates pushing him forward, he wound up with a touchdown instead of a short gain, a score that became part of Jacksonville’s first victory. Two minutes before halftime, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love dropped back into his end zone and was shoved with two hands — but not sacked for a safety — by a chasing Rams defender. Officially, he went 101 yards, 18 yards longer than Seattle’s previous franchise record for a fumble return.

Nobody needs to punt if the offense continually marches down the field. Way said he’s constantly thinking on the sideline about when he’s checking in, what the wind velocity is and what specifically to aim for. In honor of Jayden Daniels’ historic start to his NFL career, the Power Rankings are checking in on rookies this week. Last week: 4Sunday: Beat Green Bay Packers 31-29The Vikings are having the NFL’s most surprising season without much help from their rookie class. Veteran wide receiver Rashee Rice is expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury against the Chargers. Second-round wide receiver Ladd McConkey had a career-high 67 yards Sunday and leads the team with 173 receiving yards. Fourth-round tight end Erick All has been a surprise with 12 catches, but third-round wide receiver Jermaine Burton has been a disappointment.
