CNN —Riley Strain, a Missouri college student who went missing after leaving a downtown Nashville bar and whose body was later found in a river, died of accidental drowning and alcohol poisoning, the medical examiner’s office said Tuesday. Strain’s body was found in the Cumberland River in West Nashville on the morning of March 22, several miles from where he had gone missing. The autopsy report said Strain’s blood alcohol level was 0.228, which is almost three times the legal driving limit. CNN obtained a copy of the autopsy report from CNN affiliate WTVF and has reached out to the Strain family’s attorney for comment. Correction: A previous version of this story cited the wrong CNN affiliate for the copy of the autopsy report.

Housing experts say the settlement may effectively demolish the current real estate business model. Under the terms of settlement, which was announced in March, sellers’ agents will no longer be required to offer commissions to buyers’ agents. While the settlement does not explicitly spell the end of the traditional 6% commission, split between the seller’s agent and the buyer’s agent, commissions are expected to fall because they will become competitive and negotiable. LOUIS (AP) — A Missouri prosecutor now believes that inmate Marcellus Williams is innocent of the crime that landed him on death row and very nearly cost him his life, and he is seeking to overturn Williams' conviction. They cited testimony from Henry Cole, who shared a St. Louis cell with Williams in 1999 while Williams was jailed on unrelated charges. (AP) — A driver backed through the wall of a Missouri nail salon, killing a woman and injuring three other people, authorities said. The crash happened Saturday afternoon in Pacific, a town about 30 miles (48 kilometers) southwest of St. Louis, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. Killed was Jill Goddard, 61, of Pacific, who was in the salon, the patrol said. Emergency crews also took the 57-year-old driver and two people inside the salon to hospitals with minor injuries. The youngest of the injured salon patrons was 17.
