A judge in Georgia's Fulton County struck down the state's six-week abortion ban Monday, allowing the procedure to resume and making it legal up to 22 weeks of pregnancy. The state law, known as the LIFE Act, was signed by Republican Gov. The Georgia Supreme Court, however, soon took up the case and allowed it to remain in effect. The law has no "definition of 'health records.' And no mention of any notice to be provided to the 'woman' whose 'health records' have been made 'available,'" the judge wrote.

Shortly after announcing North American tour dates, the band said it will not be participating in dynamic pricing. Dynamic pricing occurs when a ticket seller adjusts the cost of a ticket in real time based on live demand. The band's announcement comes after the U.K. government scrutinized Ticketmaster and its dynamic pricing model in relation to the sale of Oasis concert tickets. Some music fans feel that fandom and devotion should be considered when granting ticket sale access. Oasis said in a news release that it plans to take the tour to "other continents outside of Europe and North America later next year."

An OSHA spokesperson said in a response to NBC News that the agency did forward his safety allegations to the Coast Guard, which has the jurisdiction to investigate such claims. The Coast Guard also noted at the start of the hearing that the Titan never underwent an independent review, which is standard practice in the industry. “If the Coast Guard became a problem, then he would buy himself a congressman and make it go away,” McCoy said, adding that he resigned soon after. Rush “said the usual response that ‘it takes too long,’” Kohnen testified about getting OceanGate’s submersible classified by the industry. CNN —A Georgia judge has struck down the state’s six-week abortion ban, declaring it unconstitutional. In a ruling issued on Monday, Judge Robert McBurney said Georgia’s Living Infants Fairness and Equality Act, or LIFE Act, infringes on a woman’s state constitutional rights. When originally signed into law, the LIFE Act criminalized most abortions after an embryo generates detectable cardiac activity, typically around six weeks into a pregnancy. When the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022 and ended a national right to abortion, it opened the door for state bans. Democrats argue such deaths were a predictable outcome of laws that took effect after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
