Southern Texas braced for a major storm to hit late Wednesday into Thursday, with considerable flash flooding likely, according to forecasters. The weather system, currently named Potential Tropical Cyclone One, is expected to be upgraded and renamed Tropical Storm Alberto by the time it makes landfall on the Gulf Coast of Mexico early Thursday. With Thursday's seasonal solstice taking place amid a weeklong heat wave expected for the East Coast and the Midwest, the summer of 2024 is coming in hot. The three injured runners had all been transported to a hospital, according to Bouisset. But now the company is believed to have inked a deal with the ChatGPT creator, a partnership Apple could elaborate on during the opening keynote on Monday. Apple aligning itself with a company and a technology that have yet to win public trust could pose some risks for Apple down the line. Generative AI could potentially propel the headset into another level of personalization and immersion and usher in new use cases for businesses, particularly in the education and medical spaces.

There’s another connection between Canada, asthma and my family — and it’s a somewhat accidental one. Unfortunately, the challenges that my mom faced getting asthma medication persisted. There were times that my mother didn’t fill her prescriptions for her asthma medication out of concern over the cost. Research shows that if you have a parent with asthma, you have a 25% likelihood of developing asthma yourself. Still, I remain vigilant because there is no cure for asthma and my family is so susceptible to its ravages.
