Singer Khalid came out as gay in a series of posts on X after he said he was outed by someone else. In a post on Friday, the "Location" singer shared a rainbow flag emoji followed by "there yall go. Someone responded saying, "Wait hope Mr Khalid isn’t GEHHH!." The singer, whose full name is Khalid Donnel Robinson, opened up about his sexuality after someone outed him, he explained in another post on X. NBC News reached out to a rep for Khalid for further comment.

President-elect Donald Trump on Friday nominated Dr. Marty Makary, a pancreatic surgeon at Johns Hopkins University who's made controversial claims about Covid, as commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration. The Agency needs Dr. Marty Makary, a Highly Respected Johns Hopkins Surgical Oncologist and Health Policy Expert, to course-correct and refocus the Agency," Trump said on Truth Social. As FDA commissioner, Makary would be responsible for regulating and overseeing drugs, food, medical devices and other products, such as tobacco and cosmetics. I have been watching “The Great British Bake Off” since it arrived on American shores about 10 years ago as “The Great British Baking Show.” The baking competition was such a staple of my mid-aughts TV routine that my older daughter used to call it “cake channel” when she was in preschool. Even so, in all my years watching “G.B.B.O.,” with all its memorable characters, no contestant had ever won my heart the way that Nelly Ghaffar has this season. Ghaffar is a joyful mother of two from Dorset, England, who works as a palliative care nurse, and she’s originally from Slovakia. Her English retains a charming accent, which reminded me of my Austrian oma’s. I am still thinking of her, though she was sent home on the episode that Netflix showed two weeks ago, because the show isn’t the same without her genuine warmth and good humor.

But many of the elixir victims were very young children, and agency officials wasted no time spinning the incident up into a national crisis.
