Yet the man that director Cullen Hoback’s film names as the 2009 founder of bitcoin is denying he is Satoshi Nakamoto. “For the record, I’m not Satoshi,” Peter Todd, a bitcoin core developer, told CNN in a statement. Hoback’s evidence includes a 2010 bitcoin message board post from Todd that he concludes was written by Satoshi Nakamoto. The film “Rust” will make its world premiere next month, three years after the set shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and blanketed the production in scandal and legal troubles. The Western drama starring and produced by Alec Baldwin will make its world premiere at the Camerimage Festival which takes place Nov. 16 to 23 in Toruń, Poland. Production was halted as Baldwin and the film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, became the subject of legal action. CNN —The movie “Rust” will premiere at a film festival next month, three years after cinematographer Halyna Hutchins will killed in a shooting incident on the set of the western. “The filmmakers will discuss events surrounding the film, offering insight into continuing production after Halyna’s death. Hutchins, 42, was killed by a live round of ammunition fired from a prop gun held by actor and producer Alec Baldwin. As part of the settlement agreement, Hutchins’ husband, Matthew Hutchins, was set to be an executive producer on “Rust” when it resumed filming. “Halyna’s story will serve as a starting point for a conversation about the role of women in cinematography and their contributions to the art of filmmaking,” festival organizers said of the premiere event.
