Microsoft on Friday started letting people test Recall, its so-called photographic memory search feature for the latest Copilot+ PCs. Fossil fuels still dominate the global energy mix at 81.5% in 2023, according to the Energy Institute. "It just goes to show how difficult it is to change the energy mix. Takayuki Ueda, the representative director president and CEO of INPEX, a Japanese oil company, reiterated technology's role in the energy transition. President-elect Donald Trump signaled Friday his intention to nominate hedge fund executive Scott Bessent as his Treasury secretary, in a move that puts a seasoned market pro and a close Trump loyalist in a critical economic position. As head of Treasury, Bessent, 62, will be both the U.S. fiscal watchdog as well as a key official to help Trump enact his ambitious economic agenda. Like Trump, Bessent favors gradual tariffs and deregulation to push American business and control inflation. The Treasury secretary is the lynchpin for the White House economic agenda. Don't wait for your specialistAfter an accommodation is requested, employers may ask the employee's medical provider to fill out an accommodation request detailing the underlying impairment, the restrictions it imposes, and the requested accommodation.
