The Pennsylvania grandmother who fell through a sinkhole while searching for her cat has been found dead after a four-day search, officials say. Elizabeth Pollard, 64, was last seen around 5 p.m on Monday in Unity Township, about 40 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. She was believed to have fallen through a sinkhole and into a decades-old mine shaft, estimated to be at least 30-feet deep. Her body was found Friday, NBC affiliate WPXI of Pittsburgh reported citing state police.On Wednesday, Pennsylvania State Police told reporters that the nature of search shifted from a rescue to a recovery mission. London's famous black cabs will soon be available to ride through Uber , the ride-sharing company announced Tuesday. London's taxi drivers will be able to sign up for trip referrals through Uber starting Wednesday, and the service will go into effect in 2024. The news follows Uber's expansions into taxi offerings in Paris, Los Angeles and other major cities. More recently, in May, Uber partnered with Waymo to bring autonomous ride-hailing services to Phoenix, Arizona. "China is willing to continue to provide assistance to Sri Lanka without attaching political conditions, to help it cope with the difficulties it faces," Xi added.
