Week 12 saw plenty of heavy favorites face underdogs, but it didn’t prove as simple as many thought. Barkley rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on the ground in the Eagles’ Week 1 victory over the Green Bay Packers. While that still might be the case, it’s not been smooth sailing for the Texans through 12 weeks of the season. He has struggled behind a porous offensive line and that affected the running game on Sunday with Mixon only having 22 yards on 14 carries. The Seahawks currently lead the division having gotten the favorable tiebreaker thanks to their Week 12 home victory over the Cardinals.

A New Hampshire woman will spend more than two years in prison, partly because she wanted to see Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play the New England Patriots. She also used the company’s credit cards to make over 1,000 unauthorized personal purchases, including the Patriots tickets and the hot tub. She also used the stolen money on things like plane tickets and miscellaneous herbs and spices. She also claimed that her misuse of the company credit card was due to her clicking the wrong button at checkout, even though it happened over 1,000 times. And when she was fired for stealing from the company, prosecutors said Pratt demanded that the owner’s widow pay her a Christmas bonus.

Tom Brady's endless list of accolades include seven Super Bowl rings, three NFL MVP awards and 15 Pro Bowl appearances. But despite all his winning, Brady views his losses as the most important moments of his career. The 47-year-old broadcaster recalled years spent at the bottom of the QB depth chart, first in high school and then in college at the University of Michigan. I had to compete my butt off in high school for four years," he said. Young athletes today are done a disservice by switching schools or athletic programs when things aren't going their way, Brady said.

But now, as Trump lines up against DeSantis in a battle over a high-profile ballot initiative to legalize marijuana in Florida, the governor’s old ally, Jeff Roe, is working against him. The relationship, however, soured after DeSantis’ presidential ambitions went up in flames. CNN —Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has joined the ranks of NFL team owners after his purchase of a minority share of the Las Vegas Raiders, the NFL has announced. Brady’s purchase, which the Associated Press reports is for a 5% ownership stake in the franchise, was approved Tuesday at a meeting of NFL owners in Atlanta. “I’m incredibly humbled and excited to have been unanimously approved as an owner of the Las Vegas Raiders,” Brady said in a post on social media. The purchase agreement with the Raiders is the second partnership between Brady and Raiders owner Mark Davis. In March 2023, it was announced that Brady had acquired an ownership stake in the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces, also owned by Davis.
