Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban said Friday he would invite Benjamin Netanyahu to visit his country and that he would guarantee that an International Criminal Court arrest warrant against the Israeli prime minister would "not be observed." Ireland's prime minister Simon Harris said Friday that his country would be prepared to arrest the Israeli prime minister if he came to the country. The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The ICC issued arrest warrants on Thursday for Netanyahu and his former defense chief Yoav Gallant, as well as Hamas military chief Mohammed Deif, for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza conflict. Israel's parliament voted Monday to ban the operations of the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees, the main humanitarian aid agency operating in Gaza. "This is the latest in the ongoing campaign to discredit UNRWA and delegitimize its role towards providing human-development assistance and services to #Palestine Refugees," Lazzarini wrote. UNRWA is a U.N. aid organization established in 1949 to provide aid and protection to Palestinian refugees in the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. Darja Stefancic, a painter in Slovenia known for technicolor landscapes, thought it strange when an obscure online art gallery run by a woman from Argentina contacted her out of the blue and asked her to join its thin roster of artists. The painter suspected a scam, and she worried that the gallery, which virtually nobody in Slovenia’s tiny, tight-knit art scene had heard of, “just wanted to cheat people.”It did — but in ways that far surpassed even her darkest suspicions. The online gallery was a front for Russian intelligence, part of an elaborate network of deep-cover sleeper spies trained to impersonate Argentines, Brazilians and other foreign nationals by Russia’s foreign intelligence agency, the SVR, around Europe. The pair had been posing as an Argentine couple in Slovenia where they were convicted of spying.
