Chinese markets are "turning a corner" following a series of government stimulus measures , HSBC said, naming its top stock ideas for 2025. Here are two of the stocks HSBC likes: KE Holdings HSBC is bullish on real estate player KE Holdings (or Beike), and considers it a key beneficiary of "China's 2025 inflection point." KE Holdings "has the highest earnings sensitivity to a recovery in property sales in both the primary and secondary markets," he added. KE Holdings' shares are listed on the Hong Kong Exchange and trade as an American Depositary Receipt (ADR) in the U.S. under the ticker BEKE . Owning overcrowded stocks could increase volatility and lead to muted portfolio gains, according to Morgan Stanley. "Crowded trades come with the risk of overvaluation and increased volatility as it may be more difficult to attract the marginal investor, while avoiding overcrowded stocks can provide investors with an opportunity to capture unrecognized value when paired with strong fundamentals," Morgan Stanley strategists said in a note to clients. Car rental agency Avis Budget Group was the most crowded stock among hedge funds, with more than half its float owned by professional traders. Aerospace and defense company Loar Holdings and real estate development and management firm Howard Hughes were also on the list of crowded trades. Janus Henderson , The New York Times , Planet Fitness and Wayfair were popular names among hedge funds last quarter.

The suits were brought by the Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana, an advocacy group serving residents of 24 counties in the state. Federal prosecutors have also alleged that tenant screening checks can be discriminatory. In seven major cities, you'd need to earn more than quadruple the federal minimum wage of $7.25 to afford the fair market rent without spending more than 30% of your income on housing or working a second job, Clever found. To determine the minimum wage needed to afford a fair market priced rental in the 50 largest U.S. metros, the report analyzed wage and housing data from a variety of sources, including the U.S. Department of Labor and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Clever follows HUD's definition of fair market rent, which is the price at which 60% of similar units in the area rent for more than the listed amount and 40% rent for less. Here are seven major U.S. metros where workers would need to make quadruple the minimum wage in order to comfortably afford rent, according to Clever Real Estate.

CNN —David Knezevich, the South Florida businessman accused in the February disappearance of his estranged wife in Spain, is now charged with her murder. A federal grand jury in Miami indicted Knezevich, 36, Wednesday on charges of kidnapping resulting in death, foreign domestic violence resulting in death, and foreign murder of a US national. If convicted of the newest charges, Knezevich could face the death penalty. Prosecutors said Knezevich traveled from Miami to Turkey and later to his native home of Serbia, where he rented a car and drove to Spain in late January. The complaint said the vehicle’s license plates were stolen from another vehicle on the street in Madrid where Henao was living.
