Police said they are investigating the second alleged incident thoroughly. This means that we are now investigating two rape cases involving Marius Borg Høiby,” the police added. Norway's royal family found itself embroiled in an intensifying scandal Tuesday after the son of the country's crown princess was arrested on suspicion of rape. They add to the growing list of charges against the Oslo socialite, the eldest child of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit from a relationship prior to her marriage to Crown Prince Haakon. It was the police who brought the provisional rape charge, not the alleged victim, her lawyer Hege Salomon told Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten. And Borg Hoiby has pleaded not-guilty to separate charges related to two past relationships. According to police, when he was arrested Monday Borg Hoiby was in a car with the alleged victim from the August incident.

Marius Borg Høiby was born before his mother Mette-Marit married Crown Prince Haakon and became a princess in 2001. Høiby was arrested late on Monday night, police said, and was being held in a detention center on Tuesday morning. Three of the women have been in a relationship with Høiby, NRK reported, adding that he has been accused of abuse in close relationships against all three women. Charles visited one of the new hubs in south London, which is hosting a “surplus food festival” where meals will be made using food that might otherwise have gone to waste. Since it was launched, the food project has worked with local charities FareShare and the Felix Project, and saved 940 tons of surplus food - the equivalent of 2.2 million meals. LONDON — Princess Kate will attend Remembrance Day events in London over the weekend, Buckingham Palace has said, but Queen Camilla will miss the occasion after falling ill with a chest infection. CNN —Catherine, Princess of Wales, joined other members of Britain’s royal family at a Remembrance Day event in London on Saturday – the latest public appearance by the princess since she underwent preventive treatment for cancer earlier this year. Catherine, also known as Kate, was shown in a photograph attending the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall, along with King Charles and her husband, Prince William. Queen Camilla was originally set to attend but pulled out due to a chest infection, Buckingham Palace said on Saturday. In October, she made her first public appearance since her cancer treatment to meet the bereaved families of three children killed in a knife attack in Southport, northwest England. Kate is also set to attend a Remembrance Day service on Sunday, Buckingham Palace said.
