Pizza Hut will then review the submissions and select 25 winners whose resumes will "be hand delivered via custom Pizza Hut ResZAme pizza box to their desired employers." If selected, applicants will be responsible for getting permission from their chosen company to deliver the pizza box resume. While Pizza Hut can't guarantee that the hot and cheesy resume will work, pizza has in the past been shown to be an attention grabber.

The company was ready to emerge from its beta phase, and Parkhurst wanted to make potential clients aware that Antimetal even existed. Antimetal spent roughly $15,000 on pizzas, packaging and targeted delivery to potential clients, venture capital firms and even tech influencers with large social media followings. It worked: Roughly 75 of the companies that received pizza have become Antimetal clients, Parkhurst says — creating a bump of more than $1 million in annualized net revenue, according to documents reviewed by CNBC Make It. "Obviously, the ROI [return on investment] is insane on the revenue side, compared to what we spent," Parkhurst says.

CNN —Tiger Woods shot a one-over-par 72 on his return to competitive PGA Tour action on Thursday at the Genesis Invitational, but finished his round with a huge shank to blot his outing. However, Woods admitted afterwards that he was dealing with back spasms for the final three holes of his round, something which helped to contribute to the shank on the 18th hole. Woods hits from a bunker on the 10th hole during the first round of the Genesis Invitational. Woods is chasing his first PGA Tour win since his record-equaling 82nd triumph at the Zozo Championship in October 2019. Woods has said he is aiming to play in one tournament a month this year.
