Instead, the suspect took a Greyhound bus to New York, law enforcement sources told CNN. Investigators are still trying to determine where the suspect boarded, said John Miller, CNN’s chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst. He checked into a hostel on Manhattan’s Upper West Side using a fake New Jersey driver’s license, a law enforcement official told CNN. Leaving the backpack behind may have been a smart move on the suspect’s part, law enforcement experts said.
