So filmmaker Kristoffer Borgli wrapped his in a bizarro premise with plenty of comedy and a surprisingly apt character for lead actor Nicolas Cage. In the new “Dream Scenario,” recently released in theaters by A24, Cage plays an unremarkable guy who starts showing up inexplicably in others’ dreams, even those of far-flung strangers. It brings him a strange and unintentional fame, one that starts to sour as public perception shifts against the man making bedtime cameos in people’s minds.

CNN —Across the political spectrum, there’s a consensus that social media is dangerous. Director Kristoffer Borgli’s latest film, “Dream Scenario,” half builds on, half parodies those fears and anxieties for its absurdist plot. It also suggests, though, that the dynamics and dangers of online existence aren’t exactly new and aren’t exactly about social media at all. “Dream Scenario” is about how, even before we could see short hip hop dance videos on loop, we’ve always been in each other’s skulls. As “Dream Scenario” suggests, for better and worse, to be human is to dream together.

The towering Hornelen mountain on the western coast of Norway is now open to adrenaline-seekers with the nerves of steel needed to tackle its new via ferrata climbing route. Via ferrata directly translates from Italian to English as “iron path” – it’s a term used to describe mountain climbing routes that use steel cables and fixed ladders to aid climbers. Hornelan mountain is 860 meters (2,820 feet) high and is claimed by tourism board Fjord Norway as the tallest sea cliff in Europe. The new climbing route is van Oorschot’s vision – he’s been working on the project for nine years.

COPENHAGEN, Sept 28 (Reuters) - More than half the gas in the damaged Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines has left the pipes and the remaining volume is expected to be gone by Sunday, the head of the Danish Energy Agency Kristoffer Bottzauw said on Wednesday. Leaks in the pipelines were detected on Monday after they burst in several locations in Danish and Swedish waters. The European Union and NATO have blamed the incidents on sabotage. The pipelines contained a total of 778 million cubic metres of natural gas, which corresponds to 32% of Denmark's annual CO2 equivalent emissions, the Energy Agency said in a statement.
