One of the Arizona Biltmore’s outdoor statues fell over and landed on the child, who suffered a serious head injury, the Phoenix Fire Department told CNN affiliate KPNX. Around 8:45 a.m. on November 27, responding officers located the injured child and took him to a local hospital in critical condition, the Phoenix Police Department told CNN Tuesday. It's official, this July was the hottest month in Phoenix on record, with an average temperature of 102.7°F.
