The question for some of us is, why some people want to keep working decades beyond retirement age? CNN Opinion editor Stephanie Griffith asked seven people who are past the conventional retirement age why they are still at the job and got as many responses as there were respondents. They continue to work happily and productively, and were happy to explain to us how and why they do it. Over the years I’ve had to adapt frequently to the changing technology, which isn’t always easy for someone my age. CNN —A woman from Lagos, Nigeria, has entered the record books after weaving a handmade wig that measures 351.28 meters (1,152 feet, 5 inches) in length. Professional wigmaker Helen Williams spent more than two million naira (almost $2,500) and 11 days making the wig, which is longer than seven Olympic swimming pools. “Finding the materials to make the longest wig was not an easy task,” said Williams in the statement. “I have trained hundreds of students and have made thousands of wigs,” said Williams, although her record-breaking endeavor still proved difficult. The outcome is the longest handmade wig in the world.”Williams is a professional wigmaker in Lagos, Nigeria.

Fujishima said the alleged sex abuse had really happened and that she would stay on the company’s board to see through a victim compensation program. CNN —A Labrador and German shepherd mix named Zoey has claimed the record for the longest tongue on a living dog. At 12.7 centimeters (5 inches), Zoey’s tongue is longer than a soda can, according to Guinness World Records. Her owners, Sadie and Drew Williams from Metairie, Louisiana, US, said people often comment on how long Zoey’s tongue is. “She will pretty much go fetch anything you throw and swim in any body of water that’s available,” said Drew Williams. “Every now and then while we’re out taking her on a walk, people will come up to her and want to pet her,” said Drew Williams.
