It was Combs’ third attempt before a federal judge to seek bail after two other judges found there were no conditions that alleviated concerns Combs was engaging in alleged witness tampering and posed a danger to women. Slavik claimed Combs violated the judge’s order limiting public statements and said Combs admitted it in one message. Earlier this year, CNN acquired and published surveillance footage depicting several different angles of the assault, which were edited together to help more clearly illustrate the incident. Slavik said prosecutors provided Combs’ team with cell phone video of the same assault that is captured on the hotel surveillance video. That was not edited.”Slavik said the government does not have the original surveillance video.

"I'm skeptical he'll actually do it," Johnson said of Trump's tariff policy. With all of these negative implications, Johnson isn't convinced that Trump's tariffs will be as drastic as they were presented on the campaign trail. Mass deportation is a logistical nightmareTrump's mass deportation plans don't make economic sense to Johnson, either. It's still too early to predict how Trump's policies will pan out, but for now, Johnson is seeing drastic barriers to Trump's tariff and immigration plans. Should Trump go through with his tariff and immigration policies, it'll be up to the American people to judge their efficacy and implementation.

But the decline in support for Ms. Harris in some of the country’s most liberal areas is particularly notable. For example, in Fulton County, which contains most of Atlanta, Ms. Harris gained about 4,500 votes, but Mr. Trump gained more than 7,400. He similarly outran Ms. Harris where she made gains in Wake County, N.C., Lancaster County, Pa., and Montgomery County, Texas. In Milwaukee County in swing-state Wisconsin, Ms. Harris lost 1,200 voters compared with Mr. Biden’s total in 2020, while Mr. Trump gained more than 3,500. But even with Trump’s gains among men, women still had greater leverage to decide the election’s outcome. Both the exit polls and VoteCast showed her winning 57% of white women with at least a four-year college degree. Solid majorities of Black, Latina and college-educated White women described Trump in the exit poll as “too extreme,” as did over two-fifths of the White women without a college degree. But among the White women without a college degree who described Trump as “too extreme,” almost 1 in 5 voted for him anyway. Though many women are expressing unease about mass deportation, Trump’s claim that immigrants are driving crime may provide him considerable leeway to pursue his agenda, particularly among the blue-collar White women who proved most receptive to that argument.

Beyond the usual top jobs, some organizations now have chief experience officers, chief AI-ethics officers, and chief transformation officers. LinkedIn said in September that those were the fastest-growing C-suite roles on its platform from 2022 to 2023. Janet SherlockBut she said a lineup that includes a chief marketing officer, a chief information officer, and a chief customer-experience officer might indicate insufficient internal coordination. "Do I need a customer-experience officer whenever I have a chief commercial officer, a chief information officer, and a chief marketing officer?" The analysts downgraded their growth forecasts across the region, down to 0.8% from their previous forecast of 1.1% for 2025.
