Kendra Panteah, 37, pleaded guilty Friday to one count of kidnapping not resulting in death in federal court in Albuquerque, according to court records. Another man, Gilbert John Jr., fatally stabbed the victim, the prosecutor's office said. Panteah said the two other people got out as she drove to Gallup with the man still locked in the trunk, according to the plea agreement. They stopped at Bass Lake, which is where the victim began breaking out of the trunk and John stabbed him repeatedly with a machete, Panteah and prosecutors said. He and Panteah sat on the trunk of the car until the victim stopped moving, according to Panteah's plea agreement.

A new piece of music believed to be penned by Frédéric Chopin has been discovered in the vault of a New York museum nearly 200 years after it was first written. McClellan told the BBC he was initially unsure if the piece was actually Chopin’s after photographing the score and playing it himself on his keyboard at home. It’s beautiful.”“This is not the most complicated music by Chopin but it is one of the most authentic Chopin styles that you can imagine,” Lang Lang told the newspaper. Chopin, who wrote mostly piano solos, was born to a French father and Polish mother near Warsaw in 1810. According to the New York Times, experts say Chopin is believed to have written around 28 waltzes before he died aged 39 in France in 1849.

The Pepperidge Farm snack brand is tweaking its name for a limited time to “Chilean Sea Bass,” a more grown-up title, the Campbell’s Company announced Wednesday. So, as a playful reminder, we went ahead and gave our iconic cheddar cracker a new, fun, grown-up name,” Danielle Brown, vice president of Goldfish, told CNN. But the Chilean Sea Bass snacks won’t appear on shelves: Bags featuring the branding are only being sold online beginning Wednesday and just for one week.
