MSCI's gauge of Asia Pacific stocks outside Japan (.MIAPJ0000PUS) was down 0.5% at 0143GMT. The Hang Seng Index (.HSI) and China's benchmark CSI300 Index (.CSI300) both opened down about 0.3%. Shares in Europe and the U.S. fell on Tuesday over concerns about weak global growth.
