CNN —Dwyane Wade’s status as a Miami Heat legend was further cemented on Sunday as the franchise unveiled an eight-foot statue of the three-time NBA champion. The 42-year-old played 16 seasons in the NBA and was selected as an All-Star 13 times before retiring in 2019. One comment on an Instagram video of the unveiling said that the statue better resembled Laurence Fishburne as ’Morpheus’ from the movie ‘The Matrix’ than Wade. Fans criticized the likeness of the statue although Wade himself didn't seem too bothered and was relishing the moment. Tyrese Haliburton led the way for the Pacers with 22 points but still looks a long way off last season’s form.

Both Trump and Harris have rolled out pricey provisions without specifying how they would cover the cost. Allen provided a similar account, according to former Delphi Police Chief Steve Mullin, who conducted the interview, though Allen said he’d arrived at the trail at noon and left at 1:30 p.m. When Mullin showed Allen a photo of the “bridge guy,” the former chief testified, Allen responded: “If the picture was taken with the girl’s camera, there was no way it could be him,” Mullin testified. In his testimony, Liggett said it was the discovery of that bullet along with witness accounts that prompted Allen’s arrest.

Joe Kovach is trying to find the owner of a ring found among the debris left behind by Florida's two recent hurricanes. It is likely the owner of the ring is from Crystal Beach, Ozona, or Palm Harbor, Kovach said. He did not include a photo or description of the ring to ensure it is returned to the rightful owner who can accurately describe it. A fanny pack containing family photos and an arcade game card — and even a Social Security card whose owner Kovach was able to track down.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds and another man were injured in a shooting last week after two vehicles followed them from a Glendale, Colorado, gentlemen's club, documents state. Two men, Burr Charlesworth and Luis Mendoza, were arrested in the Oct. 18 shooting, according to NBC affiliate KUSA of Denver, citing police. One caller said he was driving and had been shot, according to court documents obtained by KUSA. Reynolds was allegedly shot twice, once in his arm and once in the back of his head, KUSA reported. At one point, four vehicles were allegedly following the car Reynolds was in, according to the news station.
