Unappreciated aspects of Welltower , a real estate investment trust, or REIT, that invests in health-care infrastructure, are likely to translate into long-term growth ahead, according to Bank of America. Analyst Joshua Dennerlein reiterated his buy rating on the S & P 500 company, which owns senior housing as well as post-acute care and outpatient medical facilities. He also increased his price target by $61 to $190, the highest on the Street, according to FactSet, which implies nearly 52% upside from Friday's close. This year, the stock has been on a monster run, soaring about 41%, excluding reinvested dividends, versus 22.5% for the S & P 500. In a McKinsey survey in February, groceries represented the top category that Gen Z and millennial respondents said they planned to splurge on, outpacing restaurants, travel, and fitness; in 2017, Gen Xers were the top spenders on groceries, followed by boomers. In June, Bank of America reported that its Gen Z customers spent more at premium grocery stores than any other generation. The trend picked up steam with Gen Z. Millennials and Gen Zers are driving demand for vegetarian and vegan food. In a recent YouGov survey for Whole Foods, 70% of Gen Z respondents indicated they were willing to pay more for high-quality foods. Artificial intelligence is already changing the way some people work, but it's not yet poised to replace the work that humans do, according to a new report from Indeed. A 68.7% majority of skills were "very unlikely" or "unlikely" to be replaced by AI, while 28.5% of skills may "potentially" be replaceable. Indeed's report examined soft skills like communication, leadership and organization, more technical skills including specific coding languages, and hands-on skills such as cooking and administering medication. Still, workers shouldn't shy away from certain career paths that are more susceptible to being replaced by AI, according to Gudell. "It's really all about using these tools to your maximum advantage when you're searching for a job," Gudell says.
