As Disney prepares to report earnings Wednesday, major analysts fear further disappointment is in store for investors as streaming subscriber estimates remain too high and need to come down. The entertainment giant has said it plans for its Disney+ streaming service to have between 230 million and 260 million subscribers by the end of 2024. Wells Fargo's Steven Cahall agrees that Disney needs to trim back its streaming goals. Although the bank remains bullish on the company and the continued progression of its Disney+ business, it cut 2024 streaming estimates to 213 million from 240 million. To be sure, there are some potential bright spots that could keep Disney on track to reach its target.

Oscar-winning director Paul Haggis was arrested in Italy on Sunday on charges of sexual assault and aggravated personal injury, police said. Priya Chaudhry, an attorney for Haggis, said the Canadian filmmaker was "totally innocent" and was willing to cooperate with authorities. He is totally innocent, and willing to fully cooperate with the authorities so the truth comes out quickly." The woman who accused Haggis will also be questioned ahead of the trial, Negro said. Haggis denied the original allegation and sued the publicist, Haleigh Breest, accusing her of trying to bankrupt him.

A new analysis found the Norwegian capital, Oslo, to be the world's best city for work-life balance. The top six cities for work-life balance as determined by the software company Kisi were all European, and no US city ranked in the top 10. According to Kisi's data, workers in Oslo take on average 25 days of vacation a year and get 707 days of paid parental leave. The city also scored highly for remote working, quality and availability of healthcare, and air quality. The surge in remote working means some people have used the past two years as an opportunity to relocate.
