A 57-year-old man died from heat exposure after walking in Death Valley National Park, authorities confirmed Monday, making it the second heat-related death in the area this summer. Peter Hayes Robino, from Los Angeles County, drove his car off a steep embankment after taking a one-mile circular walk on Aug. 1, the National Park Service said in a statement. But FastPass has been a thing of the past since 2014, and visitors can instead buy a Lightning Lane Multi-Pass, which I decided to opt for. After tax, my $232 park-hopper ticket was $247 (yes, that means the park ticket cost more than my airfare). But after adding the $24 Lightning Lane Multi-Pass in Hollywood Studios and the $20 Single Lane Pass for the TRON ride, the final cost was $291. A single park ticket would have been cheaper, but since I was there for just one day, I wanted to see as much of Disney as possible. At first, I was pretty confused by the way the Lightning Lane passes work.

AdvertisementTrump can't take Arizona for grantedBefore Biden won Arizona in 2020, it last voted for a Democratic presidential nominee in 1996. AdvertisementHowever, for Trump, a Harris win in Arizona would be a huge blow in his attempts to win a second term. Biden's 2020 victories in Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada — as well as his wins in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin — effectively cut off Trump's path to victory that year. Should Harris neutralize the border security issue — a feat that seemed unimaginable when Biden was still the presumptive nominee — it'll give her a major opening to win Arizona.
