CNN —Colorado beat the Baylor Bears 38-31 in a thriller on Saturday after a 43-yard Hail Mary touchdown in the final seconds of regular time from the Buffaloes forced overtime. But a 58-yard touchdown pass from Sanders to Omarion Miller before halftime cut the Bears’ lead and Colorado leveled in the third quarter. Baylor regained their seven-point lead again midway through the fourth quarter after a 24-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Hal Presley. With 2:16 remaining, Sanders helped orchestrate a magical drive which culminated in the game going to overtime following the Hail Mary touchdown to Wester. The Federal Bureau of Investigation boarded a vessel managed by the same company whose cargo ship caused the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, according to a statement published Saturday. NBC News has reached out to the owner of the vessel Grace Ocean Private Limited, and its operator, Synergy Marine Group for comment. NBC News has also reached out to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Maryland and U.S. Coast Guard for comment. A spokesperson for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency would not comment further on the matter. Six construction workers died when the bridge went crumbling down into the Patapsco River.

The NYPD on Friday released body-worn camera footage from a weekend shooting at a Brooklyn subway station that started as a confrontation between police and an apparent fare-beater who they have said charged at officers with a knife. According to police and surveillance video from the station, Mickles jumped a turnstile at the subway station just after 3 p.m. Sunday, right in front of two officers. When a train pulls into the station, Mickles backs onto it once the doors open. Officials readily shared their worries with CNN, citing death threats, harassment, baseless lawsuits, onerous public-records requests and various security threats spurred by false claims about voter fraud. Amid these challenges, budgets for election security have been squeezed in several ways. Thousands of election workers across the country have reported receiving harassing, offensive or hostile communications, including since the 2022 midterms, according to the Department of Justice’s Election Threats Task Force. As recently as Tuesday, Trump threatened to prosecute and imprison election officials if he wins in November, as he cast doubt on the integrity of the upcoming election.

Victims' families and a survivor of a Maryland bridge collapse that killed six people filed claims Friday for wrongful death and punitive damages against the owner and the operator of the massive cargo ship that crashed into the bridge earlier this year. The 100,000-plus-ton ship Dali slammed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge in the early hours of March 26 as a work crew was fixing potholes. Six construction workers died when the bridge went crumbling down into the Patapsco River. The nearly two dozen crew members on the ship survived, along with two pilots who were helping the vessel navigate the harbor. Days after the bridge collapse, the ship’s Singapore-based owner and manager petitioned a Maryland court to limit their monetary liability to $43.67 million, the value of the ship and its cargo, based on a pre-Civil War provision of maritime law.

Family members identified the couple on their verified GoFundMe page as 25-year-old Ilya Tsaruk and 26-year-old Sophia Tsaruk.
