Hindenburg's report also said it held short positions in Adani Group through its U.S.-traded bonds and non-Indian-traded derivative instruments. REUTERS/Mohamed Abd El GhanyCAIRO, Jan 26 (Reuters) - Egyptologists have uncovered a Pharaonic tomb near the capital Cairo containing what may be the oldest and "most complete" mummy yet to be discovered in the country, the excavation team leader said on Thursday. The mummy, of a man named Hekashepes, was in a limestone sarcophagus that had been sealed in mortar. Numerous statues were found among the tombs, including one representing a man and his wife and several servants, the statement said.
In one apartment, Jack, Lucy Peng, and a few other leaders worked alongside the firm's engineers. Everyone's enthusiasm flowed from their strong identification with the company's mission and Jack's vision, and if it was part of our mission, all believed, it was certainly achievable. In fact, in time, I would grow to better understand and more deeply embrace Alibaba's mission, vision, and values and the way they motivated our people. That's what Savio Kwan, Alibaba's first COO, did, codifying Jack's ideas into our company mission, vision, and values. Their efforts would form the basis of Alibaba's core mission, vision, and values statement— the guiding force or beliefs for Alibaba's development then and now.
The club is one of the world's biggest sporting brands and generated 689 million euros ($750.94 million) in revenue in 2021-22. "Chelsea getting sold in 2022 means a rate has been established on the value of a Premier League club," Joyce said. The Glazers bought United for 790 million pounds in 2005 in a highly-leveraged deal which has been criticised for loading debt onto the club. OLD TRAFFORD INVESTMENTThe Chelsea deal involved the new owners paying 2.5 billion pounds ($3.10 billion) to purchase shares while committing a further 1.75 billion pounds to invest in the club, particularly the stadium. Media reports suggest it would cost one to two billion pounds to renovate.

The idea of "quiet quitting" may not be anything new. Thierry Delaporte, CEO and managing director at IT company Wipro Limited, also sees quiet quitting as a chance for leaders to reflect on how they need to adjust to the changing labor force. The term quiet quitting was coined in 2022 on social media — with different definitions. People who were unable to resign or were unsuccessful in changing their work environment started asking questions, he said. Long term, it's not just about quiet quitting either, the Davos panel suggested.

CNN —The decisions taken by soccer bodies FIFA and UEFA to block the European Super League (ESL) are in line with European Union (EU) competition laws, according to an EU Opinion issued on Thursday. “The FIFA-UEFA rules under which any new competition is subject to prior approval are compatible with EU competition law,” Advocate General Athanasios Rantos at the EU Court of Justice (CJEU) said. The ESL was set up in 2021 by 12 European clubs with the intention to break away from European football governing body UEFA to create their very own competition. FIFA also welcomes the Advocate General’s recognition of FIFA’s exclusive rights to market international competitions organized by FIFA. TOKYO, Nov 22 (Reuters) - U.S. private equity firm Carlyle Group Inc (CG.O) aims to enlarge its footprint in the Japanese automotive sector as the global shift to electric vehicles (EVs) shakes the industry's supply chain, its executives said. With the world quickly moving to EVs, Japanese auto parts suppliers are reviewing strategies that were traditionally tailored for combustion-engine cars, Reiji Terasaka, who heads Carlyle's Japan industrial team, told Reuters in an interview. The Japanese auto industry used to draw strengths from its decades-old keiretsu system - a hierarchical pyramid of equity-interlocked suppliers with automakers sitting atop and ensuring business security. Automakers might not be able to support all kinds of keiretsu companies anymore, Terasaka said, adding that he anticipated changes to how the keiretsu system operated. The private equity industry "has evolved over the last 10 to 20 years from where there was more of a focus on costs," Bernasek said.
