The Times of London noted that Bushnell only received $100,000 for the screen rights to "Sex and the City."
"The percentage of women in the 1% who made their own money is about 3.5%, and that's shocking," Bushnell told The Times of London.
Advertisement"You know, it's a television product, done with Michael Patrick King and Sarah Jessica Parker, who have both worked with HBO a lot in the past," Bushnell told The New Yorker.
Bushnell is now performing a one-woman show called "True Tales of Sex, Success, and Sex and the City."
