With a huge lead on the scorecards, Khelif continued to apply the pressure to Yang in the third and final round. For eight years, this has been my dream and I’m now the Olympic champion and gold medallist,” she said after the fight. The crowd cheered raucously as it was announced that Khelif had won the gold medal on points by unanimous decision. For some Americans, the American Dream has become more like a vision. That's according to a recent Pew Research Center survey, in which more than 8,700 U.S. adults were asked to describe their views of the American Dream. "The American Dream is changing, according to small-business owners," Fara Howard, GoDaddy's chief marketing officer, told CNBC Make It at the time. Thirty-one percent said they'd already achieved the American Dream, and 36% said they were on the right path toward it. "These views are nearly identical to when the Center last asked this question in 2022," the Pew report noted.
