CNN —A plane carrying the Auburn men’s basketball team had to be diverted following an altercation on the flight, according to CNN affiliate WBRC. According to WBRC, the pilot requested an emergency landing in Montgomery, Alabama. Per ESPN, the apparent scuffle was over before it became a serious situation, but the flight personnel decided to divert back to Auburn. Auburn was still expecting to travel to Houston on Friday night, according to ESPN. The Tigers are 1-0 on the season following a blowout win over Vermont earlier this week.

That's according to AdImpact, a firm that tracks political ad spending. The total is in line with the firm's 2023 projection that 2024 would see more ad spending than ever before. Bomb threats sent to polling places and ballot-counting locations in at least five battleground states across the U.S. Tuesday targeted mostly Democratic counties, an NBC News analysis has found. In October, Microsoft introduced a sweeping update to its Copilot virtual assistant in an effort to make it more useful and user-friendly, CEO of Microsoft AI Mustafa Suleyman previously told CNN. Microsoft users will also see AI features in Notepad, Microsoft’s writing platform, allowing them to use the new technology to help rewrite or edit sentences.
