CNN —A short but tense distribution dispute between Disney and DirecTV came to an end Saturday after the two sides agreed to a new deal that will restore Disney-owned channels, including ABC, ESPN and FX, to the satellite TV provider. DirecTV stopped airing Disney-owned channels on September 1, denying sports fans the ability to watch NFL games on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” and US Open tennis on ABC. The companies said the distribution deal will include new options for customers, including new packages that include the Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ streaming services. DirecTV will also be able to distribute the forthcoming ESPN standalone streaming service at no extra cost to DirecTV customers. Last week, DirecTV filed a complaint Saturday with the Federal Communications Commission alleging Disney did not negotiate in good faith.

Justin Wayne Halstenberg, 34, is alleged to have set off three different fires last week, San Bernardino County Sheriff Shannon Dicus said Thursday. One of those fires evolved into the Line Fire, that has continued to burn after eight days, while the other two were contained. According to Dicus, investigators were able to tie Halstenberg to the scene of all three fires. The investigation was indicative of “significant arson behavior” and it is possible Halstenberg could be tied to other fires, Dicus said. If convicted on the aggravated arson charge, Halstenberg could be sentenced between 10 years to life in prison.

I am thankful to our board for their efforts to welcome Boise State University, Colorado State University, California State University, Fresno, and San Diego State University to the conference. An exciting new era for the Pac-12 Conference begins today.”Ahead of Thursday’s Pac-12 announcement, Mountain West commissioner Gloria Nevarez had released a statement about the then-pending news. The requirements of the scheduling agreement will apply to the Pac-12 should they admit Mountain West members.
