Curtis described Hershberg as a "helicopter parent," saying the now 66-year-old had the best intentions.

"There's a lot more evidence about how children are supposed to sleep," Curtis, who works in technology, said.
They'll say things like, "Why can't you just let the kids sleep in the car?'
